New study programmes at BTU - apply now!

83 future-oriented study programmes are available to interested young people at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU). Two new Bachelor's and six Master's degree programmes will be offered for the first time in the upcoming winter semester 2025/26, half of them in English. Eleven new bachelor's degree programmes for teaching.

Impetus for the energy transition: Energy Innovation Centre (EIZ) hosts symposium for the second time

Around 120 experts from the energy technology and Energy Economics sectors will meet on 10 June 2025 for the 2nd Annual Meeting of the Energy Innovation Centre (EIZ) to discuss solutions for the energy transition. On 11 June, the EIZ will then host a specialist forum as part of the 25th Brandenburg Energy Day.

Railway stations - new meeting places, cultural centres or places of the future?

How can empty spaces become lively meeting places? Researchers from BTU are now tackling this question together with civil society, local authorities, culture, planning and students in the "AlterPerimentale" project. An excursion will take participants to the dilapidated railway station in Neupetershain on Tuesday, 10 June 2025.
